The
Millcraft Paper Company [yesterday] announced that it has entered into an
agreement to acquire the United States Midwest-based business assets of Ariva
Distribution, Inc. from Lindenmeyr Munroe, a division of Central National-Gottesman
Inc. (CNG).
In
a separate but coordinated business transaction, privately-held CNG entered
into its own agreement with Domtar Corporation, Ariva’s parent company,
pursuant to which Lindenmeyr, based in Purchase, New York, will first acquire
Ariva’s entire U.S. operations. Millcraft’s acquisition includes Covington, Kentucky-based Ariva’s six Midwest locations in Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, Cincinnati, Fort Wayne and Indianapolis.
