Atlantic Packaging Products hopes to complete the conversion
of the idle newsprint PM at its Whitby, ON, mill to containerboard by the end
of April, according to contacts.
The machine would have capacity to produce 300,000 tons/yr
of recycled lightweight containerboard but the net capacity addition reportedly
would be more like 100,000 ton/yr because the company may indefinitely idle an
older existing machine depending on market conditions.

quarter of 2012 and lower than many economists forecast, according to Chinese
official data.

From January to March 2013, the investment in
fixed assets (excluding rural households) reached 5,809.2 billion yuan, up by
20.9 percent year-on-year in nominal terms.

In March 2013, the total value added of the
industrial enterprises above designated size was up by 8.9 percent year-on-year

created a high-low look that reflects her own boy-girl style--androgyny with
some sequins and a dash of nerdy glasses. Along with annual revenue that has
more than tripled to $2.2 billion since 2003, the cult of J.Crew has blossomed
like a CMO's fantasy.

Promoting the Value of Print
Promoting Value of Print: Communication that is Environmentally and Socially Responsible:
The printing industry is constantly facing challenges regarding its place in messaging, its environmental impact, and its future. As recently as January of this year, Google launched a campaign to “Go Paperless in 2013,” and who can forget Toshiba’s ill-fated “National No Print Day,” announced in the summer of 2012? Both campaigns encouraged switching from paper to electronic communications as a means of protecting the environment. These are only two of the most recent cases. With industry giants making false claims about print, it became clear we needed to fight back.Printing Industries of America created the Value of Print campaign in March 2012 as a response to false claims about print’s negative impact on the environment and the loss of its effectiveness.
