Packaging has informed customers it will increase prices on all its solid
unbleached sulfate (SUS) paperboard, also called coated unbleached kraft (CUK),
by $50/ton effective with shipments on or after Sept. 1, according to industry
sources.
The
increase applies to Graphic Packaging's Omni-Kote, Pearl-Kote and Aqua-Kote SUS
grades. MeadWestvaco last week set a $50 price increase on its coated natural kraft (CNK) also called CUK effective Sept. 1.
