China's Shandong Tralin Group
has halted production on the sole 80,000 tonne/yr coated fine paper (CFP)
machine at its Gaotang mill in Liaocheng city, Shandong province, aiming to
overhaul it to produce food packaging.
According to the firm, the
rebuild of the PM has almost wrapped up. The machine will now mainly produce
coated ivory board grades such as cupstock at a rate of 100,000 tonnes/yr.
