last week cut 44 jobs in Michigan, or about 4 percent of its 1,100-person
Southeast Michigan workforce.
"The reduction was less than three
percent of Valassis' total U.S. employee base of approximately 4,300," Mary Broaddus,
director of investor relations and corporate
communications
said.
