ZenithOptimedia’s New Advertising Projections

Projects 3.5% increase in global ad spend for 2013. In U.S., digital will account for 21.8% (vs. 19% in 2012) of ad spend; mobile for 3.7%–but mobile will grow by 81% this year (vs. 16% growth for Internet). Magazines’ global share of ad spend in 2012 was 7%; share in 2015 projected at 6.8%.
