U.S.
digital ad spending will reach $41.9 billion this year, up 14.0% over last
year, according to a new forecast from eMarketer.
Of
that, $34.3 billion will be on desktop digital advertising and $7.6 billion on
mobile advertising, eMarketer projected. By 2015, desktop digital ad spending will peak at $35.3 billion, then decline to $34.4 billion in 2016 as mobile spending increases, according to the report.
