The mill likely will be demolished eventually, Perske said. The company that bought the mill from Verso, AIM Development, will be scrapping much of the metal from the building, and the equipment inside will be sold or auctioned.
Eventually the rest of the structures likely will be demolished and the site redeveloped, he said, although nothing definite has been decided, and options are still being considered.
