The American Forest & Paper Association released its
October 2012 Kraft Paper Sector Statistics Report today.
Total Kraft paper shipments were 128.3 thousand tons, a
decrease of 5 percent compared to the prior month. Total inventory was 72.9
thousand tons this month. Both unbleached and bleached Kraft shipments
decreased year over year.
Total boxboard production increased by 2.6 percent compared to October 2011 and increased 0.5 percent from last month.
