Paper
and paperboard shipments in Japan in 2013 are expected to fall 1.5 pct from the
previous year to 27,358,000 tons, down for the third consecutive year, the
Japan Paper Association said Monday.
The expected decline is chiefly due to sluggish shipments of mainstay printing paper amid the wider use of e-mail and the Internet.
