Battle for Fibrek Continues

Fibrek Inc. ("Fibrek" or the "Company") announced today that Mercer International Inc. ("Mercer") has extended the expiry date of its superior offer to acquire all of the issued and outstanding common shares of Fibrek to April 16, 2012.
