Jones Publishing Inc. bought
Smart Retailer, formerly Country Business, from Country Sampler,
a publishing division of Annie’s,
to expand its craft and collectibles portfolio.
Smart Retailer, published by Country Sampler since 1993, is a b-to-b
retailing magazine that features gifts, crafts and collectibles. Jones
Publishing, founded in 1986, maintains a big presence in the market, already
publishing four special-interest magazines.
