Association President and CEO Donna Harman issued the following statement regarding
the United States Postal Service's (USPS) decision to postpone elimination of
Saturday delivery.
"We are pleased with
today's announcement that the USPS will delay its plans to eliminate Saturday
mail delivery pending further congressional action, as this reduction in
service would have been short-sighted and harmful to their ability to serve
customers.
