Mac
Palmiere is no longer serving in the position of president and chief executive
officer of Howe Sound Pulp and Paper (HSPP), the mill's owners have confirmed.
"We
can confirm that Mac Palmiere is no longer the CEO of HSPP and no one has
permanently taken over in that capacity as of yet," Jessica Ko, in-house
lawyer for Paper Excellence Canada Holdings Corp., said in an email to Coast
Reporter on Aug. 26.
The
company did not provide any further details about the management change.
