EURO-GRAPH Reports April Shipments

EURO-GRAPH has reported European coated mechanical paper shipments fell -3.2% in April as compared to the same month last year. Demand declined -3.8% and exports were down -1%. Coated woodfree shipments for the month decreased -5.1% and demand was down -9.9%. Exports increased 13%. Supercalendered paper shipments were up +0.2%, demand rose +1.8%, but exports fell -8.5%. Uncoated woodfree shipments increased +4.3%, demand was up +1.5% and exports rose +26.2%.
