HarperCollins Canada today announced that it
has acquired a select number of Wiley Canada’s non-fiction backlist titles. The
acquisition is effective immediately. The terms of the acquisition were not
disclosed.
Among the titles purchased are such Canadian
classics as the bestselling Mother of All series by Ann Douglas, Ken Dryden’s The
Game, recognized as the best book ever written on hockey and one of Sports
Illustrated’s best sports books of all time, Hockey Dad, by Bob
McKenzie and several cookbooks by Anne Lindsay including Smart
Cooking,Lighthearted Everyday Cooking, and her most recent Lighthearted
at Home: The Very Best of Anne Lindsay.
